- Annual volume: 12K
- Coverage model: 24 hours of physician coverage daily
- 10 ED beds
- EMR: EPIC
UPMC operates a specialized Outpatient Emergency Department (OED) in Lock Haven, licensed under UPMC Williamsport, serving as Pennsylvania’s first rural freestanding ED. It provides 24/7 emergency care for life-threatening conditions, with on-site diagnostics and transfers to a full-service hospital for admissions. The main UPMC Williamsport ED is a Level II trauma center.
Job Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible required
- EM, IM, or FM
- If not ABEM, must have ACLS, PALS, ATLS
