Position Details

The incoming Medical Director will collaborate with the CEO and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

About This Facility 

Lifepoint Rehabilitation has officially broken ground on a planned 58,000-square-foot rehabilitation hospital in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

The new 40-bed rehabilitation hospital will be specially designed to create a therapeutic environment for patients and will be outfitted with leading-edge amenities and adaptive units, including a brain injury unit, multidisciplinary therapy gymnasiums, a specialized “activities of daily living” suite, and outdoor courtyards designed to promote patient ambulation and activity.

Lifepoint Rehabilitation’s stand-alone rehabilitation hospitals focus on acute rehabilitation and recovery for patients who suffer from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, multiple traumas, amputation and other injuries or disorders.

The planned hospital will be located at 7840 South Highgate Avenue and is expected to open to patients next year. Upon completion, it will join Lifepoint Rehabilitation’s network of more than 45 inpatient rehabilitation facilities nationwide.
