Job Details
Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call
Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Clinic schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
24-hour call coverage with follow-up clinic
Trauma level: III
EMR: Epic
Providers in group: 4 physicians
Advanced practice providers: 7
Supervision of APPs: Yes
Inpatient responsibilities: Post-op rounding, inpatient/ED consults, OR coverage
Average hospital census: Approximately 160 patients/day
Teaching opportunities with residency and PA student rotations
Clinical Responsibilities
Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacement
Hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot surgical procedures
Trauma injuries and fracture care
Sports medicine procedures
Requirements
Active state license required to bid: Yes (IA license or active IMLC)
Board certification required: Yes (Board Certified only)
IMLC accepted: Yes
Must cover both required date blocks
