Carilion Family Medicine – West Salem is seeking a well-trained, ABMS- or AOA-eligible/board-certified Family Medicine physician to join our established and growing outpatient practice. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a thriving patient panel while helping meet the expanding healthcare needs of our community. Located in a contemporary medical office building, the practice offers a collaborative environment supported by six physicians and a dynamic team known for its strong camaraderie, positive spirit, and commitment to both hard work and work-life balance.

Our modern facility features on-site lab services, digital X-ray, physical therapy, and rotating specialists who share the space, including sports medicine, allergy, podiatry, orthopaedics, and urgent care. Physicians also hold academic appointments through the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, providing opportunities for teaching and professional growth. Call coverage is shared on a 1:6 rotation, taken from home, with no weekend call responsibilities. The office is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a 763-bed Level I Trauma Center.
