Position Overview

• Patient Volume: 5,000

• Beds: 10 (Freestanding ER)

• Coverage Model: 24 hrs of physician coverage structured as 12 hour shifts

• Acuity: Low

• EMR: EPIC

• Part of the larger CHRISTUS Health Longview system (6 total ERs in the area)

CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Henderson is a freestanding ER and is part of the CHRISTUS Health system As a part of a regional referral center, it attracts a wide variety of cases from surrounding communities, giving physicians exposure to complex pathology while still maintaining a collegial, community-hospital culture. Physicians joining Good Shepherd can expect modern facilities, access to multidisciplinary teams, and a supportive environment for building a practice and collaborating across specialties.
