Job Description

Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist wanted for outpatient-focused position in Lima, Ohio, employed by Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center (424-bed regional referral center). Practice in a collegial multi-specialty group serving a 10-county area.

Clinical responsibilities and practice details

  • Outpatient caseload: 12–15 patients/day
  • In person and telemedine flexibility!
  • Patient mix: major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety, panic, OCD, psychosis
  • TMS available
  • PHP/IOP services offered
  • Employed position with integrated hospital support

Inpatient and addiction services

  • Psychiatric unit: 18 adult/senior beds; average daily census ~16
  • Addiction Medicine Unit: 6 detox beds with on-site substance abuse counselors

Academic environment

  • Affiliated with Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine residency programs
