Value-Based Care/Managed Care Medical Director Physician " Plantation, Florida

Join a well-established outpatient practice providing high-quality, patient-centered care to an adult population, including Medicare Advantage members. This leadership opportunity allows you to help shape clinical strategy, mentor providers, and drive outcomes in a value-based care environment.

Position Highlights:

• Outpatient-only, office-based position (no hospital rounding)

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM " 5:00 PM

• No weekends or after-hours call

• Manage a smaller, focused patient panel promoting continuity of care

• Excellent work/life balance in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EcW) efficiently and effectively

• Lead initiatives to detect and manage chronic diseases

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce hospitalizations and ER utilization

• Collaborate closely with Case Managers, Specialty Providers, and Care Coordinators

• Educate patients on preventive care and medication compliance

• Serve as a clinical leader supporting quality improvement and provider development initiatives

Requirements:

• Board Certification

• Active Florida medical license

• Minimum 5years of Managed Care experience

• Prior Value-Based Care experience required (Medicare Advantage or similar models preferred)

• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
