- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP license
- ASHA CCC-SLP
- Demonstrated bilingual proficiency in English and the student’s primary language
Core Responsibilities
- Administer comprehensive bilingual evaluations using culturally and linguistically appropriate tools
- Provide speech and language therapy in the student’s dominant language when appropriate to ensure equitable access
- Document language(s) of assessment and service delivery per IDEA and district requirements
- Develop and implement data-driven IEP goals and progress monitoring
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide compliant recommendations
- Collaborate with families, bilingual educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Complete other duties as assigned by the district or supervisor
