- Case Mix: Neurosurgery practice focused approximately 80% on spine and 20% cranial cases with a broad neurosurgical case spectrum

- Specialty Backup Available: Full-time neurosurgery attending onsite
- Support Staff Available: APP coverage with formal sign-out for evening and weekend coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active New York license required or ability to obtain
- Board: Physician Assistant certification required
- Experience: Neurosurgery or surgical first assist experience preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist neurosurgeon in operative cases as first assist
- Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Participate in inpatient consults and patient evaluations
- Collaborate with neurosurgery attending and care team
- Document patient encounters and procedures in Epic EMR
