Join a Level III trauma, 32-bed inpatient facility in North Adams, MA, as a locum tenens Emergency Medicine provider to support supplemental coverage beginning March 2, 2026 (ongoing). You will work clinically only, primarily on morning and night shifts with schedules including 7a–7p, 7a–3p, 10a–9p, 1p–9p, 3p–11p, and 7p–7a. Providers may float between two facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a department with an annual volume of ~55,000 and a typical ED patient load of 30%.
• Monitor and supervise paramedics and ambulance crews by radio.
• Participate in rounding as needed.
• Coordinate with hospitalists or admitting services for admissions; you will not be responsible for codes.

Support and systems

• APP support on site.
• EMR: MediTech.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (if BE, within 5 years of residency).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications.
• Clean professional record and NPDB report.
• Local candidates preferred.
