Clinical expectations
- High-volume reader; primarily ER and inpatient studies with some outpatient as needed
- Comfortable and experienced with stroke protocols
- Typical daily volume: 90–100 studies per 8-hour shift
- Estimated wRVUs: 60–70 per 8-hour shift
- Modalities: X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine
- Subspecialty case mix:
- Mon–Fri: ~40 ER, ~60 neuro, ~5 nuclear medicine
- Fri–Mon: ~80 ER, ~5 musculoskeletal, ~5 neuro, ~5 nuclear medicine
Logistics and benefits

Requirements
- Active West Virginia medical license
- Board certified
- DEA registration
- Fellowship in neuroradiology required
- Self-query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days
