Join a hospital-based gastroenterology team in Berlin, MD as a locum tenens physician covering inpatient clinical duties and call. Coverage begins May 4, 2026 and is ongoing. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with 24-hour beeper call one weekend per month (1:4 call ratio); expected call response time is 15 minutes and callback rate is ~15%. Daily patient volume averages 14–16 with about 3 phone consults and 1 admission; rounding is required. You will work with a team that includes 5 RNs and chart in Epic. Hospital privileges are required. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Required: active MD license or participation in IMLC, board certification in gastroenterology, and BLS.
