Locum Tenens General Radiologist — Windber, PA (Inpatient/Outpatient; Mon–Fri 8a–5p)

We’re seeking a board-certified radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Windber, Pennsylvania. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient services on a supplemental basis, starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing schedule.

Schedule & Volume

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Typical 8-hour daily volume: 90–100 studies (wRVUs ~60–70)

Clinical Scope & Modalities
You’ll interpret a broad mix of studies across modalities: X‑ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The case mix includes ER imaging, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, musculoskeletal, neuro, pediatric studies, and mammography diagnostic procedures.

Procedures Performed

• Biopsies: thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal (CT- and US-guided)
• Drainages: paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainage, chest tube, cyst drainage
• Lumbar procedures: diagnostic lumbar puncture, myelogram, epidural procedures
• Arthrograms: injections for knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder

Logistics & Coverage

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
• Coverage is clinical only.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania medical license
• Board certified in Radiology
• DEA registration
• NPDB report
