Rate: Travel: $1,724/36 hrs; Local: $1,699/36 hrs

Required qualifications:

• Valid, active Respiratory Therapy state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Core responsibilities:

• Assess respiratory status (lung function, oxygenation) and review medical history.
• Develop individualized respiratory care plans.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to relieve distress and improve lung function.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and adjust settings as indicated.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies following protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Clean, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members on patient care plans.
• Adhere to infection control, QA standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
