Provide supplemental outpatient clinical coverage for General Medicine patients in Gassaway and Nutter Fort, WV. Assignments are PRN (as-needed) with flexible half-day (≤4 hrs) or full-day (4–8 hrs) shifts; weekend availability is optional. Primary responsibilities include conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments—these are interview-based evaluations with selective physical assessments (e.g., range-of-motion and muscle strength testing). No prescribing or treatment is required. Malpractice insurance is provided.
Requirements
- Active West Virginia NP license
- AANP membership
- DMA certification or willingness to obtain
- Must have a private office for conducting exams
- Proficient in METs testing and in evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Own personal laptop (Windows; no Apple/Mac computers)
- Must be located within 50 miles of the work site
- NPDB report required
