Seeking a General Medicine Nurse Practitioner to provide supplemental outpatient clinical coverage in Aberdeen and Grand Coulee, WA. Coverage begins ASAP and continues on an ongoing, PRN basis to support Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
Scope of work
- Conduct primarily interview-based exams with focused physical assessments as needed (range of motion, muscle strength testing, METs testing).
- Evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions relevant to exams.
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities.
- Clinical-only role; malpractice insurance provided.
Schedule
- PRN (as-needed) coverage.
- Assignments may be half-day (≤4 hours) or full-day (4–8 hours).
- Weekend availability is optional.
Required qualifications
- Active Washington state license.
- AANP certification.
- DMA certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to submit an NPDB report.
- Must have a personal office and own laptop (PC only; no Macs).
- Located within 50 miles of assigned sites.
- Proficient in METs testing and in assessing/differentiating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
