Service setting: Outpatient
Coverage type: Supplemental, clinical only
Coverage period: ASAP – Ongoing
Schedule: PRN (as-needed); half day (≤4 hrs), full day (4–8 hrs); weekends optional
Duties:
- Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
- Perform interview-based exams with limited physical assessment (range of motion, muscle strength testing, METs testing)
- Evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions as related to assessments
- No prescribing or treatment provided
Credentials & requirements: - Active Texas NP license
- AANP certification
- DMA certification or willingness to obtain
- NPDB report required
- Must have own office and personal laptop (no Macs/Apple)
- Proficient in METs testing and in evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
Liability: Malpractice insurance covered
