Seeking a General Medicine Nurse Practitioner for outpatient supplemental clinical coverage in The Dalles, Brookings and Tilamook, OR. Assignments are PRN (as-needed) and may be half-day (≤4 hrs) or full-day (4–8 hrs); weekend coverage is optional. Primary duties include compensation & pension exams and separation health assessments, consisting mainly of interview-based evaluations with selective physical assessments (range of motion and muscle strength testing). No prescribing or treatment is required. Malpractice insurance is provided.
Requirements:
- Active Oregon NP license
- AANP certification
- DMA certification or willingness to obtain
- Own reliable laptop (PC only; no Macs)
- Access to a private office for patient evaluations
- Proficiency in METs testing and in evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Must reside within 50 miles of the assigned location
- NPDB report required
