Join our outpatient team in Trumansburg, NY as a General Medicine Nurse Practitioner on a supplemental, PRN basis. You’ll be asked to cover Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments on an as-needed schedule—half-day (≤4 hrs) or full-day (4–8 hrs) shifts. Weekend availability is welcome but not required. Coverage starts ASAP and is ongoing. This is a clinical-only role; malpractice insurance is provided.
What you’ll do
- Conduct primarily interview-based exams with focused physical assessments as needed (range of motion testing, muscle strength testing).
- Perform METs testing and evaluate/diagnose basic respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- You will not prescribe medications or provide treatment—this role is assessment-focused.
What we need from you
- Active New York NP license
- AANP certification
- DMA certification or willingness to obtain it
- Must be located within 50 miles of Trumansburg
- NPDB report
- Proficient with METs testing and basic cardiopulmonary evaluation
- Must have your own office space
- Own laptop required (PC only—no Macs/Apple)
