Required qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical care/CVICU or cardiac nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Specialty CVICU certifications preferred

Key responsibilities

• Continuous monitoring and assessment of cardiovascular/cardiothoracic patients
• Safe administration of medications, blood products, and advanced interventions
• Rapid response to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Patient and family education on care, recovery, and procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
