Travel RN — CVU/Cardiac Telemetry (Hilo, HI) — $1,930/36-hr Contract

Join a contract travel assignment in Hilo, HI providing skilled cardiovascular unit care. This position starts ASAP and offers $1,930 per 36-hour week.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Prior experience in CVU, telemetry, ICU, or other critical care settings preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Knowledge of cardiovascular monitoring, cardiac rhythms, and related procedures

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care for CVU patients, including pre- and post-procedure monitoring
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and responses to interventions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Document care promptly and thoroughly in the electronic health record
• Recognize and respond to acute changes and emergencies according to unit protocols
• Adhere to CVU policies, safety standards, and participate in quality improvement and continuing education efforts
