Join a supplemental outpatient team providing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Murphy, Roanoke Rapids, and Ruffin, NC. This clinical-only, PRN role begins ASAP and continues as needed to support ongoing coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct interview-focused exams with targeted physical assessments (range-of-motion and muscle-strength testing).
- Evaluate and document respiratory and cardiovascular status using METs testing.
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities.
Schedule and setting
- PRN (as-needed) coverage with flexibility for half-day (≤4 hours) or full-day (4–8 hours) shifts.
- Weekend availability accepted but not required.
Compensation and benefits
- Malpractice insurance provided.
Minimum requirements
- Active North Carolina NP license.
- AANP certification.
- DMA certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must have a private office for conducting exams.
- Own personal laptop required (Windows only; no Macs/Apple).
- Proficiency in METs testing and in evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Reside within 50 miles of the assignment location.
- Current NPDB report.
