Travel Registered Nurse (RN) — Emergency Room | Lewiston, ME (7a–7p, Contract)

Join a busy emergency department in Lewiston, ME as a travel Registered Nurse. This contract position starts ASAP, with day shifts from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and a 40-hour week. Compensation is $2,564 per 40 hours.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Emergency room or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred.

Core Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients on arrival, prioritizing care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions safely and efficiently.
• Continuously monitor patients, recognize changes in condition, and communicate with physicians and the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up.
• Support department safety and quality improvement initiatives.
