Join a supplemental outpatient team at Fort Johnson South, LA, providing Clinical-only coverage for Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This is a PRN role (as-needed) with flexible half-day or full-day shifts; weekends are optional. The engagement starts ASAP and is ongoing. Expect to work about 2 days/week on-site.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct primarily interview-based exams with selected physical assessments (range of motion, muscle strength, METs testing).
• Evaluate and document respiratory and cardiovascular findings.
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities—focused exam and documentation only.

Schedule & setting

• Outpatient clinic at Fort Johnson South (formerly Fort Polk)
• PRN: half days (≤4 hours) or full days (4–8 hours)
• Typical on-site expectation: ~2 days per week
• Coverage type: Clinical only, supplemental

Must-haves

• Active Louisiana NP license
• AANP certification
• DMA certification or willingness to obtain
• Own personal laptop (Windows only; no Macs/Apple)
• Own office/space for documentation
• NPDB report available
• Reside within 50 miles of the location
• Proficient in METs testing and in evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
