Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (Days) — Hilo, HI (Contract)

We’re looking for an experienced ER nurse to join a busy emergency department in Hilo, Hawaii. This is a contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP, day shift, with a rate of $2,144 per 40 hours. You’ll be based in Hilo and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, timely care to patients in emergency situations.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the state where you will practice.
• ER experience is ideal; strong acute care background will also be considered.
• Solid clinical skills, strong critical thinking, and clear communication.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred.

What you’ll do

• Triage and assess patients as they arrive, quickly identifying priorities for care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed.
• Continuously monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to physicians and team members.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the ER.
