Join a General Medicine outpatient team in Trumansburg, NY, providing supplemental clinical coverage on an as-needed (PRN) basis. Assignments include Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, with shifts ranging from half days (≤4 hours) to full days (4–8 hours); weekend coverage is optional. Duties are primarily interview-based evaluations with selective physical assessments (range of motion and muscle strength testing). No prescribing or treatment responsibilities. Malpractice insurance is provided.
Requirements:
- Active New York medical license
- Board certified
- Own personal laptop (no Macs/Apple)
- DMA certification or willingness to obtain
- Must have a private office for conducting exams
- Skilled in METs testing and in evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Located within 50 miles of Trumansburg
- NPDB report required
Coverage period: ASAP – ongoing. Clinical-only role for supplemental coverage.
