Join a PRN outpatient General Medicine team providing supplemental clinical coverage in Pahrump, NV (also supporting Gardnerville/Minden and Ely). Assignments are interview-focused Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments with limited physical assessment (ROM and muscle strength testing). No prescribing or treatment required. Malpractice insurance provided.
Coverage details
- Start: ASAP — ongoing
- Schedule: PRN (half-day, full-day, or weekend shifts as available)
- Shift types: Compensation & Pension exams; Separation Health Assessments
- Setting: Outpatient, clinical only
Core duties
- Conduct primarily interview-based medical examinations
- Perform basic physical assessments as needed (range of motion, muscle strength testing)
- Document findings per program requirements
Required qualifications
- Active Nevada license
- Board certified
- DMA certification or willingness to obtain
- Own, non-Mac laptop and a personal office location
- Proficiency in METs testing and in evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Must reside within 50 miles of assigned location
- NPDB report required
