PRN General Medicine Physician — Outpatient C&P Exams in Santa Fe Area (BC, NM License, Malpractice Covered)

Join a team providing outpatient general medicine coverage across Santa Fe and surrounding New Mexico locations (Silver City, Deming, Hobbs, Grant). This is supplemental, clinical-only work on a PRN basis with immediate start and ongoing opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Compensation & Pension and Separation Health Assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams with focused physical assessment as needed (range of motion, muscle strength testing, METs testing).
• Evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• No prescribing or treatment required.
• Work shifts vary: half-day (≤4 hrs), full-day (4–8 hrs), weekends optional.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico license.
• Board certified.
• DMA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient in METs testing and cardiopulmonary evaluation.
• Must be within 50 miles of assigned location.
• Maintain NPDB report.
• Must have a personal office and provide own laptop (Windows only; no Macs).

Compensation & logistics

• Malpractice insurance provided.
• Schedule: PRN/as-needed; coverage types include half-day and full-day assignments.
