Travel RN — Labor & Delivery (Nights) — Mt Vernon, WA — Contract

Location: Mt. Vernon, WA
Assignment: Contract/Travel — Start ASAP
Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM (36-hour shift)
Rate: $2,459 per 36-hour shift

Required credentials and experience:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Experience in obstetrics or labor & delivery preferred
• BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Core responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and fetal heart tracings during labor and delivery
• Provide hands-on support for labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
• Administer medications and interventions per orders; respond to obstetric emergencies
• Educate and support patients and families on childbirth and newborn care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient status accurately and promptly
• Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary team
