Requirements

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Obstetrics or Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and fetal heart tracings throughout labor.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care, including newborn transition.
• Administer medications and prescribed interventions; follow physician/midwife orders.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support regarding childbirth and newborn care.
• Document care accurately and communicate patient status and changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care.
