Schedule: PRN (as-needed); half day (≤4 hrs), full day (4–8 hrs). Weekends optional.
Primary duties
- Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Perform interview-based medical evaluations with limited physical assessment (range-of-motion testing, muscle strength testing).
- Evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions; proficient in METs testing.
- No prescribing or treatment.
- Documentation and reporting per program requirements.
Credentials & requirements
- Active Kansas medical license
- Board certified (BC)
- DMA certification or willing to obtain
- NPDB report required
- Personal laptop required (Windows only; no Macs/Apple)
- Malpractice insurance provided
