Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist — Bismarck, ND (Inpatient/Outpatient; ASAP–Ongoing)

We’re seeking an Interventional Radiologist to provide supplemental locum tenens coverage in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient services with an ASAP start and ongoing coverage.

What the schedule looks like

• Typical daytime shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Call: beeper coverage with nights from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. and 24-hour weekend call
• Clinical duties plus call responsibility

Typical caseload and procedures

• Average 10–15 cases per day
• Diagnostic and therapeutic vascular work: angiography (arterial and venous), angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic and embolization therapies, TIPS, IVC filters
• General interventional procedures: vascular access devices (PICCs), central lines, port-a-cath insertions, aspiration/drainage, abscess drainage, chest tubes, gastrostomy tubes, nephrostomy and ureteral stents, renal fistulograms
• Image-guided biopsies and interventions: percutaneous needle biopsies (above and below diaphragm, bone), cryoablation, vertebroplasty, joint/epidural injections, myelography, pain management procedures
• Liver-directed treatments: Y90/TACE
• Other procedures: thoracentesis, paracentesis, biliary and renal extractions, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram, blood patch, arthrograms, uterine artery embolization

• Travel, lodging, and and malpractice coverage provided

Requirements

• Active North Dakota medical license or participation in the IMLC
• Board certified in Interventional Radiology
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NPDB report required
