Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — School Health, Port St. Lucie, FL — Contract (Mon-Fri)

Join Adelphi as a Licensed Practical Nurse supporting students in Port Saint Lucie, FL. You’ll work alongside school staff and administration to deliver nursing care for the exceptional student department, following established policies and professional standards.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor student health and provide nursing procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including specialized medical supports as needed.
• Keep clear, up-to-date student health records and review medication status regularly, escalating any discrepancies to the supervising RN.
• Communicate with medical providers, community agencies, school personnel, and families to make sure care is consistent between home and school.
• Build collaborative working relationships with school staff and offer health-related support during school activities, including transportation assistance when directed.
• Complete required documentation, such as Medicaid billing for eligible students, in line with district and regulatory guidelines.
• Carry out assigned duties accurately and efficiently and take on additional tasks as directed.

Who we’re looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Florida LPN license.
• Experience in community health and/or school health programs is preferred.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
