What you’ll need
- Active, valid LPN license for the state.

What you’ll do

- Perform thorough patient assessments (physical exams, histories, medication review) and help develop individualized care plans.
- Give medications and treatments accurately and in line with protocols.

- Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing.
- Work closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other team members to coordinate care.
- Support patient comfort and safety through positioning, mobility help, and pain management.
- Act quickly and calmly in emergencies, using established protocols and basic life support skills.
- Follow strict infection control practices and use PPE appropriately.
- Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies safely and according to guidelines.
- Promote wellness and preventive measures such as vaccinations and screenings.
- Advocate for patients’ rights and needs, ensuring they receive appropriate care.
- Stay current with nursing best practices and complete ongoing education and training.
- Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when applicable.
