What you’ll need

  • Active, valid LPN license for the state of New Hampshire
  • BLS certification

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision, including medication administration, wound care, and routine monitoring.
  • Complete focused patient assessments (physical exams, medical history, medication reviews) and help develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and follow facility protocols for dosing and documentation.
  • Manage wound care: assess, clean, dress, and watch for signs of infection or other complications.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations) consistently and accurately.
  • Keep clear, up-to-date patient records, documenting condition changes, treatments given, and medication administration.
  • Teach patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and wellness.
  • Administer and monitor IV medications and fluids, maintaining IV line integrity and function.
  • Care for patients with urinary catheters—insert when appropriate, perform routine maintenance, and watch for complications.
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing and ensure proper labeling and handling.
