Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nights – Springfield, VT (12-hr)

We’re seeking an experienced RN to join a small, close-knit hospital in Springfield, Vermont for a nights contract/travel assignment. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a Med-Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role starts ASAP and requires coverage every other weekend and holidays as needed. Pay is $2,315 for a 36-hour week.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide hands-on nursing care on a med-surg/telemetry/PCU floor.
• Float to other inpatient units as needed, within your scope of practice.
• Manage drips and other progressive-care interventions.
• Act as charge nurse when assigned.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2+ years of current med-surg/telemetry experience, with PCU and drip management experience.
• Charge experience required.
• ICU background strongly preferred.
• Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within your scope.
• At least 3 months prior travel nursing experience (more preferred).
• Experience in a small critical-access facility is a plus.

Licenses, certifications & logistics

• Vermont RN license or Compact RN license valid for Vermont.
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS.
• Permanent address required.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
