Adelphi seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver school-based nursing services in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Working closely with school administration and the exceptional student department, the RN will provide comprehensive, standards-based care to students and support the school’s health programs.

Minimum qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Current Florida RN license
• Experience in community or school health programs
• Ability to perform essential job functions

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and document student health needs; conduct initial health screenings for new students and contribute to individualized health plans
• Plan, implement, and evaluate school-based healthcare procedures in line with mandated programs
• Monitor student conditions, perform necessary clinical procedures (including during transport when applicable), and manage medications
• Train and supervise school personnel in safe, compliant delivery of health-related tasks
• Act as liaison with the County Health Department, healthcare providers, school staff, and families to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate health records and complete required Medicaid documentation for eligible students
• Perform additional duties as assigned, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
