Located in Munster, IN, this hospital-employed opportunity seeks a non-invasive cardiologist to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care. The position is full-time (144 service hours/month; 1,728 hours/year) with phone on-call availability. Anticipated start date is approximately 90–120 days from offer, pending credentialing.

Clinical scope and responsibilities

• Manage inpatient cardiology admissions, daily rounding, consults, and follow-up care
• Provide outpatient clinic visits, diagnostic interpretation, and longitudinal cardiovascular management
• Perform non-invasive testing interpretation (ECG, echocardiography, stress testing) and coordinate care with procedural colleagues
• Participate in heart-failure and acute cardiac care teams as needed
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing, and system physicians to ensure timely, patient-centered care
• Accurately document all care in Epic EMR

Requirements and qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology (BC/BE)
• Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Interest in collaborative, patient-centered practice
• Prior inpatient cardiology or consult experience preferred

Credentialing and compliance

• Credentialing timeline and anticipated start: 90–120 days
• DEA required
