Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Perioperative/OR experience preferred
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, instruments, supplies, and the operating room for procedures
• Function as circulating nurse or scrub tech as assigned; assist the surgical team throughout cases
• Maintain sterile technique and OR safety standards
• Monitor and document patient status, administer medications as ordered
• Accurately document perioperative care, surgical events, and patient outcomes
• Provide pre- and post-operative education to patients and families
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to coordinate care
