Requirements:

• Active, valid Registered Nurse state license
• Previous nursing leadership/management experience
• BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to ensure adherence to facility policies and standards.
• Oversee patient care delivery: perform/verify assessments, medication administration, documentation, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to meet patient care needs and unit requirements.
• Mentor, educate, and evaluate nursing staff to support professional development and competency.
• Monitor compliance with clinical standards and regulations; conduct audits and implement quality improvement actions.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and care coordination across the healthcare team.
• Advocate for patients, address concerns, and promote patient-centered care.
• Respond to medical emergencies per facility protocols.
• Ensure accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.
• Stay current with healthcare regulations and ensure staff compliance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
