Requirements

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function
• Diagnose communication and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Provide evidence-based therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic skills
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies
• Assess, recommend, and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as needed
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies, exercises, and carryover techniques
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation (assessments, plans, progress notes)
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other care team members for coordinated care
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills to home, school, or work settings
• Participate in relevant professional development and quality improvement activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
