Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Pleasant Hill, CA (13-week Travel)

Contract assignment in Pleasant Hill, CA — start ASAP for 13 weeks. Full-time schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel: $2,244/35 hrs; Local: $2,212/35 hrs.

Requirements:

• Active, valid state license to practice as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.

Position overview:
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and document outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and dysphagia.
• Recommend and provide training on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies, home programs, and safe swallowing techniques.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other providers to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation including assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily life, school, and work settings.
• Engage in continuing professional development to stay current in the field.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
