Contract Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Los Angeles, CA, 13-Week Assignment

Join a Los Angeles-based team on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role combines hands-on clinical work with teamwork and family-centered care. You’ll work a full schedule (Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and can choose travel or local pay: Travel $2,121/35 hrs; Local $2,090/35 hrs.

What we’re looking for

• An active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.
• Use clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine diagnosis and severity.
• Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia, teaching safe swallowing strategies and compensations.
• Recommend and train patients/families on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Coach patients and caregivers with practical strategies and home exercises to improve outcomes.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment progress regularly, keeping accurate assessment and progress notes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to support comprehensive care.
• Help patients generalize improved communication skills to daily life, school, or work settings.
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
