Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Salinas, CA (13-Week Contract)

Join us in Salinas, CA for a 13-week contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP. This role follows a consistent schedule (Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and offers competitive pay: Travel $2,244/35 hours or Local $2,212/35 hours.

What we’re looking for

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the Red Cross (must include AED).

What you’ll do

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and their environments to identify limitations and set meaningful, achievable goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the broader care team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients improve daily living skills and increase independence.
• Recommend, train on, and monitor adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice daily living tasks with patients to boost function and confidence.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies for maintaining independence.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including evaluations and progress notes.
• Support patients’ transitions back to work and community life.
• Stay current on best practices in occupational therapy and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
