Rate: Travel $2,648/40 hrs; Local $2,608/40 hrs

Required:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing impairments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and swallowing (dysphagia).
• Recommend, implement, and provide training for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed.
• Instruct patients and families in home/school/work strategies and exercises to support progress and safety.
• Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans based on patient progress; maintain accurate, current clinical records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, educators) to coordinate care.
• Support carryover of communication skills into daily activities.
• Participate in professional development to maintain best-practice knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
