Occupational Therapist (OT) — Full-Time | McHenry, IL | Supervisory Role

We’re looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team in McHenry, IL. This position begins ASAP and follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule. If you’re a licensed (or eligible for licensure) OT who values compassionate, high-quality care and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.

What we need from you

• Valid Occupational Therapy state license or proof you’re eligible for one.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

What you’ll be doing

• Oversee and support OT Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and other support staff when needed.
• Manage patient caseloads by screening, examining, evaluating, and establishing diagnoses, treatment plans, and measurable goals.
• Design and fit adaptive devices, teach patients how to use them, and select activities that match each patient’s abilities and interests.
• Provide hands-on instruction in functional skills, track patient progress, and perform routine reexaminations to update treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team, refer patients to other disciplines or community agencies when appropriate, and participate in patient care conferences and related meetings.
• Keep schedules, clinical documentation, and billing records accurate and up to date; attend required work-related meetings.
• Maintain a safe environment by identifying and correcting fire and safety hazards.
• Order, clean, maintain, and report repair needs for supplies and equipment.
• Prioritize compassionate, patient-centered service and be prepared to take on other duties as assigned by management.
