Occupational Therapist (OT) — Full-Time | McHenry, IL | Day Shift

Join our team in McHenry, IL as a full-time Occupational Therapist. Start ASAP. Standard schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapy state license or documentation of eligibility to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OT services: screen, examine, evaluate patients; establish diagnoses, individualized treatment plans, goals, and re-evaluate progress.
• Design, fabricate, and instruct patients in the use of adaptive devices and therapeutic activities tailored to their abilities and interests.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support staff as required.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team; refer to other disciplines or external agencies as appropriate.
• Maintain treatment schedules, accurate clinical and billing documentation, and participate in patient care conferences and work-related meetings.
• Ensure a safe patient environment by identifying and eliminating hazards; manage supplies, order equipment, and report maintenance needs.
• Prioritize high-quality, compassionate patient care and perform other duties as assigned by management.
