Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — 13-Week Contract, Skowhegan, ME

Rate: Travel $2,232/36 hrs; Local $2,200/36 hrs

Requirements:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, including AED)

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and home/environmental factors to identify limitations and set goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, independence, and functional outcomes
• Recommend, train in, and fit adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Instruct and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs with patients
• Educate patients and families on strategies to manage conditions and promote independence
• Monitor, document, and update patient progress; modify treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records, including evaluations and progress notes
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support discharge planning and community/work reintegration
• Pursue ongoing professional development and stay current with OT best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
