Join a Paducah, KY hospital to provide locum tenens inpatient urology call coverage. This supplemental, call-only assignment begins Jan 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis. Coverage is EMTALA and follows a 24-hour call schedule (7:00 AM–7:00 AM) from Thursday/Friday through Monday, averaging 1–2 weekends per month.
Practice environment:
- Single-physician practice with two nurse practitioners on staff
- On-site lab and radiology
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Clinical responsibilities:
- Admit consultations and inpatient rounding
- General urologic surgeries
- Advanced endoscopic procedures, including ureteroscopy
- Laser procedures (laser certification required)
- Take emergency and consult calls per EMTALA
Requirements:
- Active Kentucky medical license or participation in the IMLC
- BC/BE in Urology
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Up-to-date flu and COVID vaccinations
