Locum Tenens Urologist – Fort Wayne IN (Dec 21–28), Call-Only 24-hr, Travel/Lodging & Malpractice Covered

Join a 250-bed Level III trauma facility in Fort Wayne, IN for locum tenens urology coverage (Dec 21–28, 2026). This assignment is call-only (24-hour beeper call, 7a–7a) with a 20-minute response expectation and includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, rounding, and care for both pediatric and adult patients. Coverage is supplemental.

Clinical scope and procedures:

• Advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery
• Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), ureteroscopy, ESWL
• Radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit; radical prostatectomy; prostatectomy
• Nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy with intraoperative ultrasound
• Pelvic lymph node dissection; adrenalectomy
• Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy; TRUS biopsies
• Fertility evaluation, incontinence procedures
• Advanced pediatric urologic surgery

Support and logistics:

• On-site support: 1 RN, 1 MA, 2 office staff
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

Requirements:

• Active Indiana medical license
• Board certified or board eligible (BC/BE)
• BLS and ATLS certification
• PCF enrollment
